6. How do MAP scores affect me?
MAP scores are a major factor in class placement for the following school year.
MAP scores determine a student’s level of High School, College and Career Readiness.
MAP scores demonstrate the measure of academic growth by each individual.

7. Next steps…
Once students complete the MAP assessments for the Fall, MAP RIT scores will be immediately available.
In an upcoming College Prep lesson, each student will analyze his/her level of High School, College and Career Readiness, based on the Fall RIT scores.
All students will review RIT goals for upcoming MAP assessments and be aware of expectation for growth in each subject area.

8. Spartan Responsibilities
In order to ensure I am as prepared as possible for my MAP assessments, as a Lathrop Spartan, I will show responsibility by:
Charging my Chromebook every night.
Bringing my Chromebook to school everyday.
Being in my College Prep class by 8:15 a.m.
Completing any outstanding requirements in order to have a Chromebook issued to me.
Checking in with my College Prep teacher on Tuesday, September 6th, if I have not yet been issued a Chromebook.
