Weathering & Erosion 3. How does weathering of rocks at the top of a mountain DIFFER from the weathering of rocks at sea level? At the top of a mountain, the rock will be hit with wind, ice, or rain that will break it down over time. At sea level, water from lakes or oceans will be the cause of weathering. 3 points possible (use your judgement, was their answer worth the full 3 points, or 1-2 points?) +3
