2. IECR – Incremental Entry Capacity Release ECS – Entry Capacity Substitution
National Grid is required to review the IECR and ECS methodologies each year
The annual review of these methodologies will commence in June 2012
National Grid requests that any issues with the methodologies which may require review and revision to the statement(s) are notified to National Grid via by the 5th July 2012

Formal consultation on any proposed changes to the Methodology Statements will begin approx September 2012
Currently, we anticipate making changes to better align capacity release timescales to the requirements of the planning Act.
There may be a requirement to consider the possible outcome from RIIO and how these changes are to be reflected as part of the methodologies.
