Academic Unit and Ecampus: Agreement
Discussion regarding the extension of an existing program (fully online or hybrid)
College, School, Department, or Program works with Ecampus to draft and submit a program proposal to Ecampus
Ecampus develops a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the academic unit
Transmittal Sheet is signed by the Academic Unit Chair, Head, or Director and the College Dean
Preparing CPS submission by Ecampus with Faculty
College, School, Department, or Program works with Ecampus to draft
a comparative table of proposed courses
Curriculum Proposal System (CPS)
Ecampus prepares and submits Expedited Ecampus Program Proposal
Office of Academic Programs and Assessment (APA)
Review of the program requirements and courses (e.g., total credit hours, core
courses, etc.) to ensure that they are the same for both face-to-face and online delivery
Curriculum Council
Minors and Options -- Final Approval
Degrees and Certificates -- Review only
Graduate Council
Notification: Graduate only

Implementation: The CPS proposal is sent to the Registrar’s Office for entry into the OSU Catalog, Banner SIS, My Degrees, and to be archived. They will also notify applicable administrative offices (e.g., Admissions, Financial Aid) of the change.
