UK is one of Europe’s leading Industrial countries….aka why its smog is the worst!
Cause: factories. Vehicle emissions in the overcrowded city
Effects: pneumonia, asthma
Solutions: creating regulations and encouraging public transit

5. Nuclear Disaster in Chernobyl
Pripyat, Ukraine (part of the Soviet Union) in 1986
Cause: They conducted an experiment to see if Chernobyl’s cooling pump could still function during a power fail (HINT: IT CAN'T!)
Chernobyl’s reactor burned for 9 days
Effects: increased cancer
Solution: vowed to become nuclear free. Last plant shut down in 2000.
Science behind it:
