An area of improvement is an item or issue that could be improved upon, such as a plan that lacked detail or didn’t address a particular situation, equipment that was insufficient, necessary training, etc.

Each functional area controller and evaluator should discuss the areas for improvement and strengths they observed in their respective areas and objectives for concurrence and clarification.
