Propaganda is advertising with the purpose of persuading to support something rather than just merely buying something. Methods are: Fear Guilt Patriotism Religion Passion All of these methods are effective. The goal is to get people to join the war effort, this is total war. As we look at the following posters, decide which method you think the author is using and what the goal is of the poster.

The point of view you will use: West side of class: Allied powers Britain or U.S. East side: Axis Powers (Germany, Japan or Italy) 2. Draw your own picture 3. Create your own slogan 4. You may have an extra day if you plan to use a computer, but you need to show me a draft of your idea while you are in class today.
