7 FAFSA Free Application For Financial Aid
Is now available starting October 1st of student’s senior year More Factors than just parent income Free Federal money AND Subsidized loans at low interest

8 Don’t Fear the FAFSA

9 Student Loans National Student Loan Debt Average is $37,172 ($24,000 in Arizona) FAFSA sets up your federal loans through the government with the rate set at 5.05% Private loans may be much higher and less flexible. Subsidized vs Unsubsidized Loans Subsidized Loan: Department of Education pays the interest on the loan while in school. Unsubsidized Loan: Interest accrues and can be paid or added to the principal loan amount that needs to be paid after graduating. Be wary of high interest private student loans, no grace periods, and predatory companies.
