Xavier Lauseng-Feb. 26 ½ Birthdays: If we have missed your child’s half birthday, just let your classroom teacher know. The student may probably celebrate his/her summer birthday any day before the school year ends. SWIMMING: February , 20, 27 PENNIES FOR PAGES begins Feb. 12 – 27. Thank you to those students and parents who have already donated! We are off to a good start. Students may send in any coins, dollar bills, or checks made out to GM school. Please see pink flyer sent home in the folder. If we collect over $1,000, Mr. Schwarz will be decorated as a human sundae! Start sending in your coins! JUMP ROPE FOR HEART: See flyers in notebook. Students in grades K-6 will jump during their phy. ed. time Feb. 26 – March 1. Students may collect money for the American Heart Association. The white money envelop needs to be back to school by Friday, March 2nd. Parents may register their child online too at heart.org/jump or heart.org/hoops. Parents may download the app…search jump/hoops in the app store. Students may bring in their money collected/white envelopes to Ms. Baudoin in her DAPE room (old weight room) located in the dome gym. She will be there in the mornings from 7:45-8:15 am. MN ZOO: The second grade will take their annual class trip to the MN Zoo on Wednesday, May 16. Parents are welcome to come, but will have to drive or share a ride with another parent(s) on their own. We will leave approximately 8:20 and return around 4:30. The cost will be $6 per child and $12 per adult. We are just letting people know so that some may adjust time off of work, or schedule the cost in their budget. More information will come at the end of April or the beginning of May.
