3. Okampu Farm is situated in Okahandja district and has 5,013 hectares of land with over a thousand game. The farmstead is centrally located and is very generously designed. 12. The farm has good game, with well over one thousand animals in both the open areas and the game fenced section. In the open area oryx, kudu, red hartebeest and warthog is plentiful as well as the smaller species of steenbuck and duiker. Game numbers are unknown. Cheetah is also found here. All fences are in excellent condition. There is a trunk road traversing the property from East to West. This road acts as a cattle management corridor as well as a fire break. South of the road is a 2000 hectare game camp enclosed by a 2,4m high 18-strand fence accommodating high value game species. The 3000 hectare north of the road is enclosed by a 1,2m high stock-proof fence, allowing plains game to migrate. This area is divided into 8 camps allowing for stock farming.
