Reading
As we continue to study biographies, we will be looking closely at cause and effect.  We will be making connections between events in a story and how they lead to other events.  We will be looking at character traits, and how events in someone's life help to shape who they are. 
Writing
We are finishing up our informational pieces, adding text features that will aid in the reader's understanding.  From here we will be moving into persuasive writing, focusing on effective persuasive strategies.
Homework:
Reading, it is the number one way to improve your reading skills!
