Leadership Personal Growth Hi everybody. This is an exciting day. I’m so pleased to be here, and I hope you all are excited to learn some new tips and strategies to implement to increase your business. We’re going to be covering a lot, so have your pens and papers at the ready! As we discussed last week, our business really can seem like a puzzle sometimes, but hopefully we can alleviate some of the mystery, and give you some practical ideas to use immediately. We’ll be covering a lot today, so have your pens and papers at the ready. I’m going to touch on… My favourite ways to show the Norwex products in action… Ideas to keep parties interactive, fun and educational for our guests… And in what order? Increasing and generating bookings to keep us in business… Finding people to join our business and help spread the word about Norwex! Getting our hostess on board so that we can have successful parties with lots of customers… Leading our teams to success… And personal growth.... It’s a lot to cover, so I’ll talk fast, and hopefully we’ll have time to field questions at the end, so be sending those into Judy. I only ask that you wait until I’ve finished covering a specific topic before you submit your question – if I haven’t talked about it yet, I may soon, so write down your questions, and when I discuss that category, if I haven’t answered your question, please type it into the chat box on you computer for Judy. I’ll also attempt to answer any questions we don’t get time for in writing after the call, and head office can probably post those answers on the cs site... And of course, I can’t stress enough that many answers to common questions can be found in webinars, our consultant manual, the build it big book and so much more… industry leaders and trainers offer advice, hints and tips on websites and through e-newsletters, our leaders have advice and ideas too.

3 Figuring it all out… If we want to figure it all out, it’s important for us to recognize that there is a formula to everything. The first step is deciding to learn everything we can about the formula for our business, and then DOING the homework – go online, go hunting, research ideas, always ask your fellow consultants what’s working for them, and what their best tip for success is. They won’t be offended or keep secrets. Successful people love to share and help others become successful because they recognize that helping others become successful is the best way to be successful yourself… especially with Norwex! Not only do each of us have a personal vision for what we want our business to do for us – the big picture - but we also have…

Successful Norwex consultants are willing to share our ideas for becoming successful because our ultimate goal is… To improve quality of life by radically reducing the use of chemicals in personal care and cleaning. That’s a global mission, and it’s one we’re meeting more and more each day. It’s no coincidence that in the past 10 years the amount of toxic chemicals on our grocers shelves have been reduced! (When I started Norwex you couldn’t find a shampoo without parabens on the shelf) It’s happening because we’re educating people… we are the ripple that’s creating a tidal wave. You can be so proud of yourself every time you further your business because you’re improving lives! Eliminating chemicals, saving families money, working with products of integrity where everybody gets paid for hard work to create our products, empowering individuals to take control of their financial lives by running a business, increasing confidence levels of consultants and hostesses alike… and you did at a PARTY! How cool is that???? I love our LIFE!!! It’s so exciting… seriously awesome! We’re so lucky! We have such flexibility… and of course, flexibility requires…

5 Self Discipline! Self discipline! Much like top athletes who make balance look effortless, there are many areas we have to work at to have a well-balanced high-functioning business. Where the athlete works with his or her own body, we are working with many factors both internal and external – the list we spoke of earlier.

6 Building Blocks The great thing about this business, is ultimate flexibility. You get to choose how you will approach your business. By focusing on sales and bookings you can create a sturdy little business that pays some bills, and gets you out of the house once in awhile, and that’s great… If you want to build castles, and touch the sky, expand your business to include all areas, recruiting, booking, selling, home, personal and watch your tower SOAR! This requires more action, time and learning… but with self-discipline and balance, you can create a strong sturdy foundation, and erect a building of towers and turrets that will stand the test of time… this is the importance of getting the whole picture.

How it adds up… Personal growth and lifelong learning Team sales Parties Sales Our business is like an upside-down pyramid. When I started, I told my manager that I wasn’t going to do parties… I was just going to sell to family and friends She said hey, you can do that, and make some extra money. There are those who do. You’ll get a 40% commission on everything you sell. Of course, it takes a lot longer to knock on 10 doors than it does to… Have 10 women in your living room and explain the products to all of them once. Why don’t you have a party and see how you like 8it. If you don’t, you can go door to door, and at least you’ll get some great product for your kit by way of hostess gifts. So I did, and as nerve wracking as that first presentation was, I earned over $250 and I said, how can I do more of this??? Then my friend Kynda got so excited about the products, I couldn’t help but share our business opportunity with her. I said… you’re already selling these to everybody you know… why don’t you join me? I started a team! In a few months, I was a team coordinator. My first team commission check was $79! I loved sharing our business so much, I decided I wanted to do more of that. The books I read about creating wealth all pointed to direct sales as a viable business avenue to true financial freedom, and I’d experienced enough improvement in my finances to believe in the possibility! I just needed one more building block. I went to my first Norwex conference and our speaker was Nikki Keohouhou. She taught me that to grow a huge Norwex business, the kind that pays $5, 10, even $20,000 a month or more! Would require… Personal growth and lifelong learning. Accept that you will never have all the answers. There is no cookie cutter consultant, and you will have to continue to try new things in your business over and over again… always! That’s what keeps our business fun and exciting. It’s how you’ll stay fresh and be able to share fresh ideas with your team. It’ll keep you young too!
