There are 27 Commissioners; one nominee from each member state.
They are appointed for a 5 year term and each has a specific area of responsibility, E.g. EU agriculture Commissioner.
They are responsible for the day to day management of the EU.

This is an independent court of law with judges appointed by member states for a term of six years.
This court seeks to ensure that EU laws are enforced and implemented in a manner that is uniform and fair.

European Central Bank
Located in Frankfurt, the ECB administers EU monetary policy and the single currency used by Eurozone members.
The ECB also sets Eurozone interest rates.
