1. PhotoShop Tools Layers Assignment #1
Locate 5 images you want to use to practice cutting out and one background (scenic) image. Save in your photos folder as layers1, layers 2, layers3, layers4, layers5, and layersbackground.
Open photoshop and create a 10X8 horizontal canvas.
Use a text box to write your first and last the top.
Go to File and Place to bring in each image and cut an object out using the magnetic lasso tool. After it is cut out, double click it. Right click layer via copy and then delete the background layer.
Remember you can turn each layer on and off to only see what you are working on. Cut all five layers out.
Move the layers where they are all visible.
Place your background layer and drag it beneath all of the other layers.
Save as layersassignment1 in your photoshop folder. Save as a psd while working, as a psd when finished, and finally also as a jpeg when finished.
