Study Tips Math: ELA: Social Living:
Sprint 12 is going home this week along with your child’s sprint graph. Please ensure your child is practicing their sprint weekly for 5 minutes 8 times by Friday. Our Math MP2 test will be this Wednesday. Student’s will complete a study guide on Monday. Use this study guide along with old homework's to help your child prepare for their test. An extra credit sheet was sent home this week. This is one way to help your child raise his or hers grade in Math and ELA. ELA: This week, the class will begin reading the novel “Dexter the Tough.” This is a great novel that teaches kids the importance of being a friend and accepting life’s hardships. We will continue to work on answering Part A & B questions using our reading strategy UNR3. Social Living: The students did such a fantastic job on their biography posters & presentations last week! This week we will begin our unit on Geography. This unit is a lengthy one filled with lots of information. Please use the study guide being sent home to help your child understand any concepts missed in class.
