4 Oligarchy was made up of aristocrats Aristocrats were usually wealthy men who owned a lot of land. Aristocrats soon realized that since they advised the king, they had the real power and took over

How did the ruler eventually lose power? The poor people would turn to individuals who promised improvements and good things. These individuals were usually in the military and used soldiers to take over
