Examine your thesis statement for this essay. Compare it with some of the model thesis statements you’ve seen (see “model paragraphs” in SRE Materials), and consider your work with it. Then, answer these three questions:
Does it represent an issue/problem along with two (or more) balanced perspectives? Prove it.
Is it clear and thorough? How so?
What does it need before you could consider it to be a perfect thesis statement?
