Choosing Game Why did you choose this? Is it better than the others? Is it bigger? Is it more valuable—is it worth more money? Is it prettier? Is it more durable—will it last longer than the other ones?

12. What makes it important now is that it is the one that you chose
What makes it important now is that it is the one that you chose. You were the “chooser” and you gave it importance. You could have chosen another one, but you didn’t. You chose this one and that makes it special and important.

16. Sick people need doctors. Doctors help sick people
Sick people need doctors. Doctors help sick people. Just like the doctor would go to help the sick person, so Jesus came to help people who need Him. He came for sick people.

17. Luke 5:27-32   27: After this, Jesus went out and saw a tax collector by the name of Levi sitting at his tax booth. “Follow me,” Jesus said to him,  28: and Levi got up, left everything and followed him. 29: Then Levi held a great banquet for Jesus at his house, and a large crowd of tax collectors and others were eating with them.  

18. 30: But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law who belonged to their sect complained to his disciples, “Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?” 31: Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 32:I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Jesus called Levi, knowing that Levi was a tax collector. Jesus called Levi to follow Him even though Levi was a sinner. Levi did not love God or follow God or do what was right. Jesus came to invite sick, sinful people into the family of God. We are all sinful people, even if we think and feel we are healthy
