Powerpoint doesn’t have an
automatic feature to do this! Using the same colour as you did for you title would be a good choice.
Try to start with the general overview bit on the top left, saying why this research is exciting and important and what the impact is likely to be. Then include any necessary technical information later on.
The more pictures and diagrams the better, include a graph if you’re brave.
When you’ve finished save your poster as a PDF to send to the printers.

The new version of Powerpoint does some nice 3D & reflection effects which make it look a bit like iTunes, and media people are obsessed with Apple right?! 24 point font should be ok for captions
