The Council consists of five members, of whom one shall be appointed by the: - Bar Association of Montenegro, - Montenegrin Medical Chamber, - Association of Lawyers of Montenegro, - University of Montenegro and - non-governmental organizations engaged with human rights. - the Police Administration is obligated to, at the request of the Council, provide the necessary information and notifications - the Council provides reviews and recommendations that are being submitted to the Minister - Minister is obligated to inform the Council about the undertaken measures II. In 3 cases the professional treatment of police was noted In 2 cases the unprofessional conduct of police was recognized Total of 5 cases were completed in the first two months of 2018 II. In previous cases complaints were requested in: - in 9 cases in order to check the use of police powers, - in 10 cases it is indicated that the police powers were exceeded, - 5 cases indicate the existence of injuries, - in 6 cases there are the alleged violation of other fundamental rights and freedoms by the police and - 7 cases are related to initiatives that enhance the use of police powers and improve police practice.
