Experts in the field of work-life balance in the workforce from 5 European countries (Ireland, Czech Republic, Italy, Germany and Scotland) Working with the topic for more than 20 years Consulting various companies in different branches and of different sizes Referring to the former EU - Project Developed in Available from September 2018

3 Online Tool for Employers
Becoming a more (single) parent oriented company, for the benefit of everyone. The programme offers supportive and helpful a) facts and figures b) hints and tools c) feasible and field-tested measures d) success stories and good practice examples

4 Piloting the programme
15 participants from Ireland, Scotland, Czech Republic, Italy and Germany involved in the piloting: HR specialists/business partners/advisors, directors, chief executives, co-owners, managers, psychologists, counsellors, career coaches private, state and NGOs sectors number of employees: 30 to 3400 9 yrs. of HR experience on average „A great tool for employers with practical examples and interesting videos/external links to resources.“ „Great course! Learned a lot from it.“

6 Work-Family Balance (WFB): MUCH MORE than a Fad
41% of companies success is due to people management (BMAS / D) People work for people, and managers open minded managers valuing employees contribution to the company´s success ↗ 4x higher commitment, engagement and productivity no expenditures for recruitment no costs of training a new employee or decreased output when staff leave and are hired ↘ saving min. 75% of an average yearly salary pP. 25 up to 30 % return on investment into WFB measures calculated in 3 companies in D - controlling is d’accord ☺

How many children are being brought up by a single parent in your country? What percentage of single parents are in employment in your country? On average, what % of single parents have been forced to leave a job due to unsuitable working hours in your country? Can you imagine how much knowledge and experience your COMPANY is missing due to the mismatching of the job and a (single parenting) employee ?

Family friendly meeting times Ad hoc home based work Annual leave days broken down into single days or hours Flexible working regimes, such as Annualised hours “Fulltime near” Part-Time (30, 33, 35 hours per week) Self-rostering / Shifts swapping Parent-child office / Carer´s room Shared positions – much more brain for almost the same money Supportive / open minded managers communicating at eye level
