Introduction After going over Democracies, Dictatorships, and Monarchies our goal is to understand the relationships between those in power or authority and citizens. During this WebQuest each group will be exploring one of these types of government.

Task In your groups look up your assigned form of government with the resources you are given. Obtain as much information as you can, you will need this to present your final project. Each person in the group will need to become a role in the assigned form of government. For example, in the Monarchy group there will be a King, Queen, Parliament, citizens, etc. Each member will present their role to the rest of the class. * Follow your rubric in order to obtain the full points for this assignment.

Process Get into assigned groups.
Identify assigned form of government. Select roles that each group member will play. Begin researching roles by watching provided video. Find more information as a group. Take notes on information found about your form of government. Collaborate with whole group on presentation. Practice presentation. Present.

Conclusion At the end of this WebQuest you will be able to identify the different forms of government and the relationships of the roles within each form. You will also have gained experience in researching, note taking, role playing, group collaboration, and presenting.
