Discussion Questions Do you charge for no-shows? If so, what is your procedure for collecting? Do you use PayPal or a similar type of service for payment at meetings? If so, does the chapter eat the transaction fees, or are these built into the meeting fee? Can members “attend” chapter meetings/programs through Skype or some other virtual access? If so, is there a cost difference for attending in- person vs. online? Who has access to your online banking? Does your chapter complete financial audits of chapter finances? If so, how often? Are they external or internal audits? how often? Do you share/discuss your chapter’s financial health with your membership? Typically, is there turnover at the treasurer position, or does the same person serve as treasurer year after year? Discuss the one thing that gives you the most difficulty in performing your duties as chapter treasurer?
