The Patriots were led by Colonel Benedict Arnold and General Richard Montgomery .
Montgomery set out for Canada on August 27th and Arnold set out for Canada on September 13th
Both armies suffered through terrible weather, difficult terrain, and more.
Colonel Benedict Arnold arrived to Quebec first and then both leaders joined forces and attacked Quebec

The Patriots tried to capture the British-occupied city of Quebec.
The Patriot attack failed and the Patriots lost.
Americans were forced out of Canada
This is America’s last opportunity to get the Canadian people on their side
+General Richard Montgomery died in this failed attack and Colonel Benedict Arnold suffered major injuries
