3. Important information
Year 4 is an important year. When the Curriculum changed in 2014, there were higher expectations.
It is important to read regularly with your child, please encourage them to note in their Reading diaries. (5x)
Reading diaries will be checked on a Friday.
All children are expected to know to 12 x 12 by the end of the Summer term.

4. Important information
Spellings will be given out on a Friday and children are expected to learn these and use them in their work.
PE on Monday and Thursday. Swimming for Swift class this term. Swallow in the Spring term.
Forest school will be in the Spring term.
Bring a water bottle and coat everyday.
Egyptian day in November, African drumming workshop Spring, Easter play Spring 2, residential to High Ashurst (27th – 29th June).
Importance of regular attendance and punctuality.
