4. Third Grade Behavior Plan
We want our third graders to learn in a safe, respectful, and responsible environment. We have gone over our expectations with your student.
If your student chooses to act against one of our expectations, we will determine a fitting consequence. Severe behavior (fighting, etc.) or repeated offences will to be sent to the office or may result in detention.

6. Reading and Math
Students will have 90 minutes of Reading and Math each day.

7. Science and S.S.
Students will be in science for 90 minutes on Monday and 45 minutes Tuesday-Thursday.
Students will be in social studies for 45 minutes Tuesday-Thursday and 90 minutes on Friday.

8. Grading
Tests: 50%
Quizzes/Projects: 30%
Daily Work: 15%
Homework: 5%

Testing
Reading: Tests will be given as units are completed. Spelling and vocabulary test will be listed in the newsletter.
Math: Tests will be given as topics are completed.
Science: Tests will be given as units are completed.
S.S.: Study guides will be sent home at least 4 days before testing.
Please check newsletters

10. Science and Social Studies homework will be sent home as needed.
Reading and Math homework is to be prepared for test. (read story, study facts, and notes)
Science and Social Studies homework will be sent home as needed.

12. Purple Folders, Newsletter, and Planners
Purple folders will go home each Monday. Please sign and return to school the next day.
Newsletters go home in the purple folders and will be available on the website. It will give an outline for the week. We will also list important dates and supplies that may be needed.
Planners will be filled out each day by the student. Please check and sign these each night.
