Culture and language! Let’s have a look together!
2
Culture It is always interesting that when we are learning a new language we can also learn from the costumes that are practiced in the origin country or in other countries that are similar. As a consequence to learn all of the costumes, I believe that this topic engage us so much that we end up reading articles, watching videos and making many other activities to learn the most possible of our interest.

Do you know what idioms are?
Idioms are idiomatic expression that we use to refer to a situation such as when someone gets their face all red because an embarrassing situation so we say “they were as red as a cherry!” Do you get it? Lets learn more about it with deep investigation!
4
Idioms exaplanation SLEEP LIKE A LOG: A log is a thick, heavy piece of wood, cut from a tree. A log does not move, so if you sleep like a log, you sleep a deep and restful sleep, moving around very little or not at all
5
A PIECE OF CAKE: Eating a piece of cake is a very easy and pleasant thing to do. If somebody says that something is a piece of cake, they mean that it’s very easy to do. You can also say it’s as easy as pie.
6
down in the dumps Long ago the word dump used to mean a state of sadness or depression. It is no longer used in this sense, but the word survives in the plural in the expression down in the dumps. If you are down in the dumps, you are feeling low or depressed.
7
lose face The most common meaning of face is the front part of the head, where your eyes, nose, and mouth are. But it can also be used to mean the visible part or surface of something, for example the front of a building, or the right side of a fabric or coin. From this developed the sense of outward appearance, and then ‘reputation’. So if you lose face, you lose the respect of other people.
