3. Fragments A group of words that is not grammatically complete.
It could be a subordinate/dependent clause with no main clause.
It could be either missing a subject or a predicate.
Subject: the doer of the action or the one in the state of being.
Predicate: the verb or the verb phrase that tells something about the subject.

Write “c/b <your name>”
Circle all noun and pronouns.
Underline all the verbs.
Highlight any of the circled words that are a subject.
Bracket and Label any sentence as “Fragment” that is missing a circled highlighted word or an underlined word.
