Text Evidence What is an inference? Prior Knowledge What are the 2 pieces information you need to make an inference? EVIDENCE- found in pictures, in a reading passage, eye witness to an event. This is the “It says…” piece. PRIOR KNOWLEDGE- what we already know. Our knowledge, experiences, things we learned. This is the “I say…” piece.
