2. Learning Target: The students will understand the factors that caused Texas to change from an agrarian society to an urban.
Success Criteria: I will explain economic factors that led to the urbanization of Texas.
Language Objective: We will explain ways in which Texas went from an agrarian society to an urbanized society.

Rural- in, relating to, or characteristic of the countryside rather than the town.
Urban- in, relating to, or characteristic of a city or town.
Urbanization- is the process where an increasing percentage of a population lives in cities and suburbs.

Each group will be assigned either Transportation, Oil and Gas, or Manufacturing.
You will research your topic, fill out the 3 boxes, and then draw a picture of it.
Then you will be placed in groups of 3 with people who did the opposite topics from you. You will complete the other two categories and draw the picture.
Turn into the tray once you’re completed.
