2 INSTRUCTION This is a cloze exercise.
In each slide, you will have a passage with some missing words. Your task is to complete the passage with the correct word. There is only one possible answer for each missing word. To complete the passage, click the number of a missing word you want to complete. An answer box will appear. Type your answer in the answer box. Press ENTER or click the OK button in the dialog box. If your answer is correct, the blank of the question you answered will be replaced with your answer. You will also get a prompt which shows whether your answer is correct or wrong. Move the cursor to clear the prompt. Your score appears on the score panel on the top right hand corner. You can only answer once for each sentence. Move to the next slide or exercise after you answer all the questions. When you have come to the last slide and you have complete the sentence, click the CERTIFICATE button to produce your certificate of the practice. Click the PRINT button to print your certificate. Click the QUIT button to finish your practice.

4 Material Intruction: This is a reading practice. Read the text below carefully, and you will have a practice on text in the next slide. Maria Redana is a student of a good private university in Yogyakarta. She comes from West Sumatra. In Yogyakarta, she stays in a boading-house with many of her friends. The house is near campus so that she only walks to campus to attend her classes. She has two or three courses in a day, and sometimes she has to go home after four. In the afternoon and evening, she studies her course material or does her assignments. She does not have courses on Saturday and, of course, on Sunday. She spends the days for recreation and enjoys her time with her friends. She likes to study in Yogyakarta very much. She believes she will be successful in her study.
