3 The GWP as Catalyst More than pre-packaged course content to substitute for existing curriculum The GWP can be a catalyst to create an intellectual community around change Instead of a solution, the GWP presents a problem with parameters begging for local definition Best solutions emerge from an intellectual community working in collaboration

In pairs or threes Choose a general education course Choose one of the three GWP skills What does it mean to you? What can someone do that has this skill or attitude? How could students develop/demonstrate this skill in the course? Think of an assignment or activity What would it take to prepare your students for the assignment/activity?
