Faculty Roles Creators Mentors Collaborators
How do faculty members engage with CITE? Three pathways: Faculty as Creators – Faculty members initiate proposals for QEP experiences and activities, designing the program and determining learning outcomes. Proposal must include a requirement that students reflect on their experience. Faculty work with the CITE director and assessment manager to determine an assessment strategy. Faculty as Mentors – Faculty who are experienced with co-curricular learning programs such as internships, service learning, student research, or projects with community or industry partners, mentor peers, influencing CITE QEP activities indirectly. Faculty as Collaborators – Faculty connect projects, programs, partnerships, and resources. Creators Mentors Collaborators
