5. P.E P.E bags need to be in school every day please.
(Don’t forget to bring back after Charlie’s club.)
The children will have a P.E session with Charlie on a Tuesday afternoon.
There will be a second session with Mrs Davies on Thursday or Friday.

6. Reading information
Reading books can be changed every day. We will encourage the children to do this independently.
Your child will have a reading bookmark to be kept in their bookbags. This is to help them remember which colour band they are on.
Library books will be changed every Thursday.
There are also ‘Read to me’ books to sign out and take home.

9. Reward System
We encourage positive behaviour by praising the children who model the behaviour expected. This is a good reminder to the other children.

10. Progress – How will I be kept informed?
Parent consultations in November
If there are any issues regarding progress, we will of course speak with you as soon as possible
If you have any concerns, please make an appointment and don’t feel you need to wait for consultations.
Our door is always open, please come to us with any worries!

12. How do we plan our projects?
Our curriculum is delivered through projects which start with a hook to motivate and engage the children. They then learn the skills, knowledge and understanding they need to work towards a real outcome/purpose, for example creating an gallery, creating information posters or a performance.
Three subjects will lead in each project, one of which is always English. There will be another application subject where the children are challenged to apply previous learning.
