So I can: formulate my own statistical question
I will be able to: Distinguish between statistical and non-statistical questions. Distinguish between categorical and numerical data. So I can: formulate my own statistical question I will show that I understood it by successfully completing at least 10 real world problems independently or with my partner with at least 80% accuracy SP. A.1

Language Objective By the end of the lesson, students will be able to use the language domains of reading and writing to communicate the academic math language of Statistics. They will verbally communicate and write to demonstrate their knowledge of data which are in two categories: Statistical and Categorical. They will distinguish between statistical and non-statistical questions, as well as distinguish between categorical and numerical data. They will show their understanding by formulating their own statistical question and successfully completing at least 10 real world problems independently or with their partner with at least 80% accuracy. Academic Math Language Vocabulary: statistics, data, category, categorical, number, numerical

We are going to do a front/back split of the room for questions 1 and 2. If you feel that the answer is statistical (or numerical for question 2) you will go to the front of the room and if you think the answer is not statistical (or categorical for question 2) you will go to the back of the room. I need to go to page 5: # 1 a-c # 2 a-c #3 a-b #4
