“The Gratitude Experiment”
Gratitude is the quality of being thankful and the willingness to express and show your appreciation of others. The two words that are scientifically proven to increase a person’s happiness are: What is the hedonic treadmill? What did Dr. Emmons find in his study? The three steps toward having an attitude of gratitude are:

GRATITUDE BOOK Make your book (3-4 bags EITHER white OR brown, and ONLY two pieces of ribbon. Get 5 papers (notes or hearts) and cut them out (you will be writing each journal entry on one of these) Write your first response: “Today I am most thankful for . . .” Create a title page (“_________ Book of Gratitude”, or “My Thankfuls”, or something else catchy or creative). Show Mrs. Palmer when you’re finished.
