12. Meeting and Exceeding MWBE Goals Prime Companies –Familiarize yourself with SLAA requirements for counting participation, ex. Only Certified MWBE companies located in the city of St. Louis will be counted toward goals. –Seek to create meaningful partnerships with MWBEs consider Joint Ventures or Mentor Protégé relationships as creative ways to meet and exceed the MWBE goals. –View goals as a HELP, not a hindrance.
