Students should use their CFNC log on info Any undergraduate student applying for admission to a state supported college or university and claiming residency must use RDS for residency determination (for instate tuition).  Students applying to, or enrolled at, a NC Independent College or University who want a NC state grant must use RDS for residency determination. When completed will receive your “RCN” (Residency Certification Number) which will need to be entered to complete a college application Code is good for 15 months

Grants Loans Work Study Merit-Based Financial Aid Scholarships (scholastic, athletic, artistic ability & success) Some scholarship opportunities are both merit-based and need-based. WSFCS hosts evening Financial Aids night in the Fall and Winter – be on the lookout for these events!

Each student must file a FAFSA to determine eligibility for all federal and most state aid for year entering college You can file as of October 1st 2017 Income Tax Returns Collegeboard website Some colleges ask for this to be completed to gain additional financial information
