You can also submit background check requests directly* to The request must contain the following information: Applicant’s First Name: Applicant’s Last Name: Applicant’s Department Contact Name: Department Contact Purpose of request: (volunteer, student employment, graduate employment, temp classified hire) *Note: If you are submitting multiple requests, you can submit one with the necessary information for all applicants.

The applicants will receive an from Risk Mitigation Services with a secure link to complete their online authorization.

The department contact listed on the request will receive the following when the background check has cleared: McBride, Ryan

If a background check reveals any convictions (findings), HR will coordinate with the respective VP to obtain the required approval. Once VP approval is received, the department contact will receive the automated “clear” . If a VP elects to decline the request, HR will contact the applicant and notify the department contact.
