AATech GE90 Tube Trim Project Number:P16682 Team Members: Anthony Cole (IE), Alexander Kirk( ME), Brian Vanger (ME), Thomas Cannon (ME) Faculty Guide: Gary Werth Advanced Atomization Technologies' aircraft nozzle requires two tubes to be cut with pinpoint accuracy. Unfortunately the tubes are bent at non ideal angles and their geometry has a huge amount of variance built in, requiring the cutting process to be highly adaptable. Further more, the process had to have a maximum process time of less than 90 seconds, with a 99.5% first time yield.
