God’s word (truth) is stable (Matt. 24:35)
Let Christ be your foundation (Col. 3:17)
All fullness in Christ (9-10).
“Made full” (ASV, others have “complete”; cf. Eph. 1:23; 3:19)

4. Confidence Building (11-12)
We should understand as repentance
The forsaking of sin (cf. Eph. 4:22)
What CAN be done and what they HAVE done
Old man buried and then the new man is risen (Col. 2:13; Rom. 6:3-4)
Our confidence (or faith) on this is in the operation (working) of God (cf. Eph. 2:8-10)

5. Benefits Of Victory (13-16)
Can you say prize (Phil. 3:14)?
What are the rewards?
Raised up with Him (Rom. 6:5-6)
Quickened (made alive) with Him (cf. Eph. 2:5)
Sins are forgiven (Col. 1:14; Heb. 10:16-17)
Law of Moses removed (cf. Eph. 2:14-16)
We share in His success (Eph. 6:12)
We are not subject to man’s examination (Gal. 5:1)
