2019-2020 registration Course recommendations
teachers have entered their course recommendations for your core classes for the school year. When you receive your registration information please discuss the recommendations with your parents. The recommendations are very important. Please note that if you are overriding a teacher recommendation, we may not be able to accommodate a schedule change back to the teacher’s original recommendation once the school year begins or into a virtual lab. The first step of the registration process is your current academic teachers have recommended the next course in the academic progression for you. This recommendation is based on, but not limited to: The student’s work ethic and diligence, grade in the class and FSA scores. Soon you can expect to receive your registration paperwork in the mail. This paperwork will include your academic course recommendations, the elective course selection sheet and an information letter to assist in some questions you may have. Please review this information with your parents. Talk to your teachers and your counselor if you have questions about the courses you were recommended for.

REGISTRATION Make course selections carefully based on your strengths. It is important to challenge yourself but also be realistic when considering all of your obligations. Remember that the master schedule is built and teachers are hired based on your course requests. Changes once the school year has started may NOT be possible. Students are reminded to make course selections carefully based on your own individual strengths. It is important for you to challenge yourself but also be realistic when considering all of your obligations. A course schedule that is balanced and challenging based on your strengths should be your goal. Remember that once the school year starts changes to your schedule are limited and most of the time not possible.
