2 Campus Services are very pleased to announce the opening of a new copy, print and ship center in July 2017:

3 This opening marks the beginning of a joint venture between the University Copy Centers and Printing & Mailing Services under the leadership of Pat Herbster and Dan Tyson. James Ward has been promoted and will be the new Tartan Ink Supervisor.

4 We hope you will join us in celebrating our grand opening early July Our new location is in the basement of the Cohon University Center, down the hall from the Credit Union.

5 PLEASE NOTE: The storefront will be closed for renovations during the month of June However, orders for this location will still be accepted via , at the Tepper Copy Center in the basement of Posner Hall, or online.

You can use WebCopy to submit copy and print requests online. WebCopy accepts most standard file formats and sizes up to 100MB. The site is secure, so confidential matter can be safely submitted via Webcopy. If you have hard copy files, you can still go online, fill out the form, and request pick up of your originals.

Night and Weekend Parking Parking & Transportation Advisory Board

17 Automatic Roll-Over Current state: every parking space reallocated every year Going forward: current permit holders have a right of retention, and can waitlist for another location Current permit holders do not get “bumped” P&TS provides improved system administration

18 Rates For , the average parking rate will increase by $4.83 per month. It is expected, however, that continued improvements in the parking system will necessitate larger rate increases in future years.

19 East Campus Garage Night & Weekend Parking
Based on feedback from all 4 representative bodies, there will be no change in night and weekend rates for the FY18 parking year. Proposed changes will be reviewed and discussed with the newly re-organized Parking Advisory Board. Full Night-Weekend charging model generates ~$300K/year in annual revenue

The PTAB provides: A forum for the campus community to consider and evaluate issues related to parking and transportation services including policy and operations Recommendations to the AVP for Facilities Management and Campus Services and the Vice President for Operations to form parking and transportation policy for CMU Fall 2017 launch Modeled after UNC Advisory Committee on Transportation & Parking (ACT) Broad faculty, staff, and student representation

Postal Services’ operations reach every member of the campus community 2 routes on and off campus (departments, faculty, and staff) 6358 student mailboxes Full service USPS contract station in the basement of the Cohon University Center Student package pickup Approximately 170,000 packages delivered in F16 Mailing and shipping supplies

USPS domestic and international shipping Express, Priority, First Class, and Media Mail Certified Mail, Registered Mail, and Insured Mail Special delivery for on-campus, same-day service Mailboxes for rent to faculty, staff, and graduate students (at half the rate charged by USPS) Distribution of internal and external advertising through post office boxes Mail metering and dispatch services

We track and analyze operational and financial data on a daily basis, and use that data to make decisions and drive performance Retail sales from walk-in and departmental customers by product line Parcel volume, trends, and operational throughput Guides staffing decisions and creates service opportunities Annual analysis for large scale adjustments Delivery route examinations and reorganization Post office box quality checks Annual thirty day mail count and time study

25 Current Challenge: Lobby Remodel
We are working with USPS and FMCS to remodel our dated retail counter in F17. The remodel provides for more interaction with our customers; an accessible counter for disabled customers; and ergonomically designed work stations for our employees.
