5. Objectives of AAESS Parent Council
Provide support and resources to the school for the benefit and educational growth of the children
Foster parental engagement and involvement
Provide opportunities for parents and teachers to plan, conduct and participate in implementing policies, activities and services.

6. Role of AAESS Parent Council
The school Parent Council is an advisory body, which may make recommendations to school administration on any matters the Council identifies as priorities with a prime objective is to improve student learning.
Support parent engagement in the School.
Assist in planning school activities and events as requested by the school administration.

7. Role of AAESS Parent Council
The Parent Council may not make recommendations on the following matters:
Personnel matters;
The security of property;
Commercial matters;
Negotiations or litigation affecting ADEK; and Individual student issues.

8. Parent Council Membership
All Parents of students currently attending Al Ain English Speaking School are automatically members of the Parent Council.

9. Parent Council Committee (PCC)
A group of parent members that will have responsibility for representing the parents of Al Ain English Speaking School and managing the activities of the Parent Council. As a minimum the PCC should have representatives for each stage; Foundation, Primary, and Secondary.

10. Main Achievements In Last Year
Conducted the First Parent Meet & Greet Session;
On Collected Parent’s feed back and forward it to the School management.
Conducted Parent-School Discussions:
Focused Subjects including; Complaint Process, Bus Operation, Uniforms, Educational Competitions, Teaching of Arabic, Improve Parent Committee.
Successful Administration of the Parent Committee; Monthly Meetings, Document Management, Loading to Website, Changes in Members, Contacting Parents, Recruiting new members, etc.
