3 What are decomposers? Organisms that break down dead material and recycle the nutrients back into the ecosystem.

4 What are examples of decomposers?
Examples of decomposers are: MUSHROOMS BACTERIA WORMS

5 How is matter recycled? Decomposers take the nutrients from each part of the food chain and bring the nutrients back to the producers to use to make it go in a cycle.

6 What is compost used for?
Compost is made when gardeners make a mixture of decaying leaves and food and put it in a bin to decay (rot) naturally. Then it is used to fertilize soil.
