Your task is to analyze an ethical dilemma. Choose one of the four dilemmas on the next slide. You must consider the alternatives and give reasons for the why and the why not you should do what is described. Then you must choose what you would do and explain why.

5. Ethical Dilemma The four ethical dilemmas you may choose from are:
1. People (including many of your friends) illegally download music over the internet. Although it’s free, it is still illegal. What do you choose to do? Why?
2. Your parent loses his/her job. You could help out by selling illegal movie dvds on the streets. What should you do?
3. You have the ability to hack into the school computer system. You can change people’s grades. Would you change your own? Why or why not? What if you could change the grade for a failing basketball player who could earn a scholarship to play for a big university if he maintains a B-average?
4. Someone you know works at a store that sells iPods. He steals some and asks if you want to buy one for half the price the store sells it for. Should you buy it? Why or why not?

12. The project is officially due on either Tuesday, February 13 or Wednesday, February 14, 2017.
You must be done at the beginning of class on those days. All we will do is a gallery walk/peer grading and you will submit your project to me. There will not be time to work on it beyond the initial 10 minutes of class for setup as you will take your Unit 3 Exam in the second half of class… a summary of all we’ve done with HTML and CSS.
