2. Step #1: Homepage

3. first name.last name example: john.doe@oit.edu
Step #2: TECHweb Login
Login to TECHweb
User Name = first name.last
Password for first time login = Hootie + last four digits of student ID# (this is your 918#)
If you have previously logged in, use the password you created…
First Time Login example: Oregon Tech ID: 918XX1234
Student Name: John Doe
Username: john.doe Password: Hootie1234
first name.last name example:
Initial Password = Hootie+ last four digits of 918# example 918XX1234 Hootie1234

4. Step #3: Web-for-Student
After entering TECHweb proceed to web-for-student
Click web-for-student icon

5. First-time login PIN = birthdate MMDDYY
Step #4: Login
For first-time login, you will have to enter your user (Oregon Tech) ID = 918#
PIN = first time sign in birthdate MMDDYY
You will be asked to change your PIN and answer some security questions

6. Step #5: Navigation
Go to Student Menu
Click link Student Menu Link

7. Step #6: Navigation
Click Student Registration Link

8. Step#7: Registration
Go to ‘Register Add or Drop Courses’

9. Step #8: Enter Registration PIN
Enter ACP Pin
ACP Pin *hstud
Click Submit

10. Step #9: Add CRN Go to bottom of webpage and add 5 digit CRN
CRN is your Course Reference Number and will be different for each dual credit class you take
You can get your CRN from your high school teacher
List of course CRN’s on website
Click submit changes

11. Step #10: Confirm Registration
Confirm Registration by viewing course schedule
Return to main student registration menu
Click detailed class schedule
Class schedule should note teacher name and college course #
*Final step is to complete payment…
