2 A Mind To Work Nehemiah Chapter 1 – He learns of Jerusalem’s condition and mourns it Chapter 2 – King Artaxerxes gives authority for Nehemiah to go and build Chapter 3 – The people build Chapter 4 – They build up to ½ the height in a short amount of time

3 A Mind To Work Nehemiah 4:6 (ASV) –
“So we built the wall; and all the wall was joined together up to half the height thereof: for the people had a mind to work.” We need this same mindset!

4 A Mind To Work There is work to do!
Matthew 9:37 – The harvest is plenteous Matthew 28:18 – Make disciples of the nations Luke 24:45 – Preach His name to all nations Mark 16:15 – Go into the whole world The field of work is large!

5 A Mind To Work We must be willing to work!
Titus 2: – Be zealous for good works. Zealous – One burning with zeal, most eagerly desirous of. Saul was a zealous man, became known as Paul. Look at his former zeal and his new zeal in Christ!

6 A Mind To Work Good works must be taught!
Matthew 28:19 – Teach them to observe all things Titus 3:14 – Learn to maintain good works Good works don’t come naturally (1 Corinthians 13) 2 Corinthians 5:17 – The old man versus the new man We must teach ourselves and others to be workers in the kingdom!

7 A Mind To Work Good works must be maintained!
Titus 3:14 – Be careful to maintain good works Titus 3:8 – Maintain good works We will be judged by our work – John 15:1-6
