2 UK-CH Affinities Great Britain has a long affinity with Switzerland:

3 UK-CH Trade Switzerland is a crucial market for UK goods and services. Bilateral trade between the UK and Switzerland is worth over £31.7 billion a year (2017). The business/tourism links between Switzerland and the UK are strong with more than 150 flights daily linking both countries. ≈41,000 British nationals live in Switzerland, and hundred thousands of British tourists visit each year. 7 Latest on UK-CH As we exit the EU the Swiss “Mind the gap" strategy is a focus of the continuity dialogues between our countries “The United Kingdom (UK) is an important partner for Switzerland. To date, the bilateral agreements with the European Union (EU) form the essential legal basis for relations between Switzerland and the UK.
