Increased ADMA in pregnancy is associated with SGA birth outcomes. Those who went on to have SGA births had higher concentrations of ADMA than those who later had AGA births [χ2(2) = 8.76, P < 0.02]. Individual data points are colored according to SGA or AGA status with overlaid regression lines from linear mixed-effects models, fitted for a subject with average values (conditional on fixed effects only).
